Claw Up Seafood & Zichar

The Creamy Corn Crab was definitely the most unique, especially with the creamy corn sauce and popcorn topping. The Chili Crab was a classic we enjoyed too. We also had the Assam Fish Head and Curry Fish Head, both great for sharing.

For the other dishes, we tried the Signature Claypot Noodle, Salted Egg Prawn Ball, Crispy Fried Baby Sotong, Red Wine Pork Ribs, Corn Crab Hotplate Tofu and Qing Long Veg. There was a good mix of seafood, meat, vegetables and noodles so it made for a pretty satisfying zi char spread.

Definitely a place worth checking out if you’re looking for a wider selection of zi char dishes, especially if you want to try something different like their Creamy Corn Crab.

I had a great chilli crab experience! The crab was incredibly fresh, meaty, and cooked to perfection. The chilli crab sauce was rich, flavourful, and had the perfect balance of sweetness, spice, and tanginess. Every fried mantou was used to fight for the gravy.

The staff was friendly and responsive and the food was served promptly despite being busy.

Highly recommended to bring a group of family and friends, so that you can try the different signature dishes.

Newly opened zichar stall beside Jalan Besar stadium. Have to say, everything ordered was piping hot and flavourful!

Would highly recommend the chili crab (not sickly sweet like other places and crabs were very fresh!), cereal prawn was super addicting (couldnt stop shovelling the cereal in my mouth and prawns were extremely moist and has a bite to it), hot plate tofu (softest egg tofu you will ever have, tastes like steam egg) and lastly the unique lala steam egg dish (soft and tender, the egg paired surprisingly well with the lala)

10/10 would revisit again to try other crab dishes and other zichar signatures
